Fancy Amboyna, ivory and ebony joint protectors are provided with the cue. Amboyna burl is one of the rarest woods in the world. It has always been treasured and was used sparingly on only the finest furniture. In fact, some pieces of furniture from the tombs of Egyptian Pharaohs contained Amboyna burl on the most visible surfaces. It is also found as a veneer on some English and French 18th and 19th century marquetry furniture. This stylish cue comes with two ivory ferruled shafts.
